The paint industry is at a high note right now, after Asian Paints and Nerolac Paints showed blockbuster results, it’s time for Berger paints. Berger Paints has increased its profit by 54.50% and revenue by 10.63%.
- Operating margin increased by 2% from 10.74% in June 2015 to 12.56% in Q1 current year due to decrease in raw material cost.
- The company has decreased its debt, as finance cost has reduced by 69%. an on the other hand other income has also increased.
- Company has paid 33% of PBT as tax, where as last year same quarter, the company had paid 37% of PBT as tax.
Other Notes:
Company has issued bonus shares in the ratio 2:5, i.e 2 bonus shares for every 5 shares whose name appears in register of members as on 18th July 2016.
The stock was up by 0.5% post results in a mid-day trade.
