Crude oil had a killer month, up 10% and making the oil diggers happy. But India didn’t share the joy because we have to import costly crude. Nifty 50 rose another 1.2% this week, and the S&P 500 grew by 2%. And guess what? Silver is now trumping gold over the past year!
IT stocks are back to top of the table after having a fantastic last week on the back of earnings. The sector is up 4.7% this week while it doesn’t beat the NSE500 over 1 year period. PSU banks, on the other hand, had a bummer of a week and ended up in the red. But hey, PSU stocks are still the winners over the past month and year!
