Today’s Big Deals:
Dynamatic Technologies – engaged in the designing and manufacturing of engineered products for the automotive, hydraulic, defence and aeronautic industries. The stock closed at Rs. 3,368.80 +1.63%. It witnessed a Breakout i.e. 52 Week High (5/30).
Samena (Subcontinent, Asia, Middle East, and North Africa) Special Situations Fund – which held 497,207 shares or 7.87%, purchased an additional 54,425 shares or 0.86% to bring its new shareholding to 5.51 lakh shares or 8.73%. This stake was sold by Citigroup Mauritius.
The Fund specializes in management buyouts, PIPEs, special situations, and consolidations. The fund seeks to take majority and minority stakes in small to mid-cap companies. It seeks to hold its investments between 24 months and 36 months.
Rajratan Global Wire – engaged in manufacturing of steel wires. Its subsidiary – Rajratan Thai Wire Company Limited, is engaged in the business of manufacturing and sale of tire bead wire. Its tire bead wire is used in all kinds of automobile tires, tires of earth moving equipment’s and aircrafts.
SBI Mutual Fund purchased 250,000 shares or 5% at an avg. price of Rs. 620/- per share. Prior to this deal, SBI Mutual Fund did not hold any shares of the company.
