Morgan Stanley sells partial stake in Mahindra Holidays & Resorts to HDFC Mutual Fund

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts  is the leisure and hospitality arm of the Mahindra Group, a USD 16.9 billion multinational group based in Mumbai, India.

It is India’s leading player in the leisure hospitality industry that offers quality family holidays primarily through vacation ownership memberships. While MHRIL’s flagship brand is Club Mahindra, some of the other popular brands offered by the Company are Club Mahindra Fundays and Svaastha Spa.

Morgan Stanley Mauritius sold 600,000 shares or 0.67% of which 584,000 shares or 0.66% were purchased by HDFC Mutual Fund under its HDFC Balanced Fund.

Morgan Stanley held 1,033,731 shares or 1.16% for the period ending March, 2016 which now stands at a reduced to 433,731 shares or 0.49%.
